We are looking forward to seeing you in East Sussex this summer (27-30 June 2024) for this year’s Peasmarsh Chamber Music Festival with Festival Directors Anthony Marwood and Richard Lester, and our fantastic cohort of 2024 guest artists.
General booking is now open, with top price tickets already sold out for concerts 4 and 5 (and only a few top price remaining for concerts 1 and 7), so please do book your tickets soon before it is too late!
We are particularly looking forward to a return visit from the wonderful Britten Sinfonia, who join us in the beautiful church of St Mary’s in Rye for our orchestral concert (Friday 28 June, 8pm), with a programme including Haydn Sinfonia Concertante, Fauré Élégie for cello and orchestra, and Dvořák Romance for violin and orchestra. Concerto soloists Anthony Marwood and Richard Lester will be joined by Peter Facer and Sarah Burnett for the Haydn. The evening will be brought to a rousing conclusion with Britten Sinfonia performing Beethoven Symphony No. 1.
