About The Festival

Established in 1998 by the Florestan Trio, and continued today under the artistic direction of violinist Anthony Marwood and cellist Richard Lester, the Peasmarsh Chamber Music Festival is a cherished annual fixture in the culture calendar of East Sussex. Each year we welcome stellar artists from around the world to collaborate in performances of chamber works both familiar and less well known.

We are also delighted to partner with five local primary schools for a programme of educational workshops and performances, introducing the next generation to the magic of chamber music.
