Usually at this time of year, pre Peasmarsh planning is at its busiest – finalising arrangements with artists, making sure the piano, stage and seating will all be in place, sending out tickets, preparing and proofreading the festival programme, proofreading it again(!), finalising our workshops in local schools, and of course arranging parties. This year of course is sadly very different.
Further to our last post, in which we were still hopeful it might be possible to salvage some form of scaled down festival, sadly this now seems impossible, and there remain no indications of when ‘mass gatherings’ (a wholly inadequate description for the Peasmarsh Festival) will again be permitted. We will continue to monitor government advice and we hope that we will be able to present live concerts in Peasmarsh again soon.
